There are many topics I could rant about, but instead, I'll get you all caught up on things...

How I Spent My Summer Vacation

 - My divorce became final (only took 2.5 years!)
 - I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (nothing like getting the *real* answer to years of pain)
 - I sent my daughter to day camp for the first time
 - I lost my Medicaid coverage due to state budget cuts (Thanks Governor Quinn!)
 - I suffered through one of the hottest Julys ever recorded in the Chicago area
 - I attended the RESULTS international convention & actually lobbied on Capitol Hill
 - My daughter turned five (time sure flies!)
 - My daughter started kindergarten (OMG!)

This summer isn't quite over yet, so even more exciting & awful things could happen. And here you thought I was going to rant about the GOP!...
